If you have snorkeling gear and you are willing to go down the Great Ocean Road then this is an opportunity for you. Half way up the point on the right hand side of the beach at Kennett River Victoria Australia you will find a large stone where the shrub meets the rocks. This stone is different to the others around it is white (maybe some kind of old, dead moss) and about the size of 2 basketballs (but not round).
When you get to this stone on a low tide jump off the rocks into the water. About 10 meters off the point out from the stone, about one and a half meters under the water there is a large rock on the reef about the size of a large seal that is a little higher than the others (there are quite a few that look like this), also this rock has a white spot on the beach side of it about the size of a 50 cent piece. The rock is covered and surrounded in seaweed.
It is around here that you may find a gold ring, it looks exactly like to one picture above, inside you will find the japanese flag and 18K embossed in it and the words "OLIE & YOKO 24 4 06" engraved.
Yes, I lost my wedding ring and yes, this reward is legit I am ready to pay cash today.
If you know anyone that frequents this spot please forward this post to them. I tried and tried to look for it, I tied my leg rope onto to a bit of seaweed on the rock and sent another surfer into the shore to get Yoko to buy goggles and bring them back out, they were kids goggles and water kept getting in them, I went a really strange colour after being in the Victorian winter ocean for so long, I had a seal hassling me at first I was sure that it was a shark and I cut my feet up on the reef.
I guess I can rest a little easy knowing that it is resting in a killer place. Any questions about the exact location then please send an email, I can draw a map.

This is a serious response to your post. I know an experienced serious free diver. What's more is that he is a vagrant, on the dole, and has performed meaner feats for good cash. If you want him to retrieve your ring, email me location specifics and I'll get on the case.
